(2;00am) poems of the day 3;

The Timelessness of Idling

Sit and stare
but nothing came
out. Breathing and
puffing but nothing
ever turns out
right. You're losing
your anonymity.
You're losing your touch.
The world
became your enemy. Slowly,
you'd wish to
turn back time. But
time was never
on any men's side.
It's slow, when
you want it fast.
It goes speeding when
you need it to slow down.
Life goes on,
you read somewhere
on the billboard
down the boulevard.
Life does go on.
And yours, is moving slowly
towards death. You know that
you want it fast. But,
you won't win. 'Coz
every man knows time.
It was never on
any man's side.
